Full-Service Vending Machines — We Run Every Part of the Program.
For qualifying workplaces of 50+ on-site daily, full-service vending is a no-cost program. We deliver the machines, install them, stock them, monitor sales, handle service calls, and keep the mix tuned to what your team is actually reaching for. You get a working breakroom. We get the keys.
A few of the workplaces we serve
Vending machines, run end-to-end by your operator.
Full-service vending is the umbrella program for workplace breakroom snack and drink machines. The operator (us) owns the equipment, places it on-site, stocks it on a route schedule, handles service calls, and tunes the product mix over time. Your facilities team doesn’t write a check, doesn’t restock, doesn’t troubleshoot — they call us when something needs to happen.
It’s the most common workplace vending shape in the US — see NAMA, the industry trade association, for category-level context. The version we run is what BUV has been doing since 2003: install, stock, monitor, service, swap out machines as your needs change. Same family running it the whole time.
For qualifying workplaces of 50+ employees on-site daily, the program is fully no-cost — no equipment fee, no install charge, no monthly service line. Your team pays at the machine for what they buy; that’s how the program funds itself. Smaller sites are sometimes a fit too with a different shape — we’ll talk it through with you.
Every cost line your facilities team would normally see — gone.
“Free vending” is the marketing line. The reason it works is the program funds itself from machine sales. For qualifying sites of 50+ on-site daily, here’s what’s actually on the house.
The machine itself
Snack, beverage cooler, fresh-food, ice cream — whatever fits your space. Modern equipment, cashless-ready, energy-efficient. We own it; you use it.
Delivery & install
We bring it on a route truck, place it where it works, plug it in, configure the catalog, and stock the opening assortment. Old machine removal included if you have one.
Restock labor
Our route drivers handle restocks on a schedule tuned to your traffic. No facilities staff time required. No internal logistics for who’s filling what.
Service calls
Bill jam, refrigeration issue, payment glitch — our techs handle every fix. You don’t call a third-party repair line. You don’t pay per-call.
Cashless & payment processing
Card readers, mobile pay, transaction fees, statements — all on us. Your team pays at the machine; the back-end is invisible to you.
Product loss & expiration
Anything that doesn’t sell before its date comes off our books, not yours. The mix-tuning is on us because the inventory risk is on us.
Six things that happen on your account — every one of them by us.
“Full service” gets used loosely in the industry. Here’s what it means at BUV — six operational lanes that run continuously once you’re live.
Site walkthrough & install
We come on-site, look at your breakroom, talk to your team about traffic patterns and what’s currently missing, and recommend an equipment fit. Install happens on a route day — machines arrive, get placed, get configured, get stocked, and your team has access that day. Old equipment removal is part of the install if you already have a machine in place.
Restocks on a route schedule
Your site gets put on a recurring route based on your team’s traffic and the machine sales rhythm. Drivers restock to par, pull anything that’s near its date, and refresh the mix as we see what’s moving. Restock frequency scales with usage — busier sites get more frequent visits, quieter sites get fewer.
Remote machine monitoring
Modern machines report sales data and exception alerts back to us continuously. We see what’s selling, what’s not, what’s sitting too long, and what’s about to be out — usually before your team notices. That feed is also how we tune the product mix to your specific account over time.
Service calls — every fix on us
Bill jams, refrigeration warnings, kiosk payment glitches, anything mechanical — our techs handle every service call. You don’t pay per-call, you don’t manage a third-party repair line, and you don’t wait on parts. Most issues get a same-route-day or next-route-day fix.
Product mix tuning
The opening assortment is a starting point. Once your account has a few weeks of sales data we start adjusting — pulling slow movers, expanding categories your team is actually reaching for, adding healthier options where the data says they’ll move. The mix shifts seasonally and as your team’s tastes shift.
Equipment swap-outs & upgrades
If your headcount grows, if your breakroom moves, if a machine type that worked at install isn’t the right fit anymore — we swap it. Newer machines come online as the fleet refreshes, so your equipment gets better over time without you running a procurement process.
Snack, drink, coffee, micro markets, ice cream — all in-house.
BUV runs the full breakroom catalog. Start with one program and add as your team grows; everything runs on the same route schedule, the same service line, the same family.
Snack Vending
Glass-front snack machines with spiral coils — salty, sweet, healthier options, gum & mints. The most common starting program.
Drink Vending
Glass-front beverage coolers — bottled water, soft drinks, juice, sparkling, energy. Standalone or paired alongside a snack program.
Office Coffee
Single-cup brewers, bean-to-cup espresso, supplies. Runs as an add-on to your vending program through the same operator.
Office coffee program →
Micro Markets
Open-shelf self-checkout breakroom stores for closed-population sites of 100+. Snacks, drinks, fresh food, frozen in one space.
Workplace micro market →
Ice Cream
Glass-front ice cream vending machines stocked with wrapped novelties — its own lead-gen lane, runs year-round indoors.
Ice cream program →Bottoms Up vending offers excellent vending services. We have been using them in all our facilities for years and have been extremely happy. We rarely have any issues at all and any small issues that come up are taken care of immediately.
Vending fits more workplaces than any other program shape.
Unlike micro markets (which need closed-population sites of 100+), full-service vending works almost anywhere a breakroom has 50+ on-site daily. Below is where we currently run programs.
Manufacturing & Logistics
Multi-shift plants, distribution centers, food processing, warehouses. 24/7 access, high-capacity machine layouts, route schedules built around third-shift restock windows. The category BUV grew up in — single biggest slice of the install base.
Healthcare
Hospital staff areas, senior living, family lounges. Quiet machines, healthier options, late-shift coverage.
Auto Dealerships & Garages
Service drive, body shop, customer lounges. Compact equipment layouts for tight footprints.
Higher Ed Campuses
Residence halls, student lounges, faculty buildings, 24/7 study spaces.

What is full-service vending?
Full-service vending is a workplace breakroom program where the operator (us) owns the machines, installs them on-site, restocks them on a route schedule, handles every service call, and tunes the product mix over time based on what your team is actually buying. Your facilities team doesn’t restock, doesn’t repair, and doesn’t pay an equipment fee or service charge.
The program funds itself from machine sales — your team pays at the machine for what they buy, and that’s what covers the equipment and labor. For qualifying sites of 50+ on-site daily, no other cost is passed to the business.
Is the full-service vending program really no-cost for our business?
For qualifying workplaces of 50+ employees on-site daily — yes. We supply the machines, the install labor, the restock labor, the service calls, the cashless payment processing, and the product. Your team pays at the machine for what they buy. The business doesn’t write a check.
Smaller sites are sometimes a fit too with a different shape — for example, a subsidized program where the company covers part of the cost so the prices to the team stay low. We’ll walk through what works for your headcount and site shape.
What size workplace is the right fit?
The vending sweet spot is roughly 50+ employees on-site daily. The program economics work because there’s enough foot traffic at the machine to fund the route, the equipment, and the service. Sites well above that (manufacturing plants, large offices, healthcare campuses) often run multiple machines and add a micro market or coffee program alongside.
Sites of 100+ on-site daily, with a closed-population (single employer or closed tenant), often graduate to a workplace micro market instead — same operator, broader format with fresh food and frozen.
How often are machines restocked?
Restock frequency scales with how busy the machine is. A high-traffic plant might see a route stop every few days. A quieter office machine might be on a weekly or every-other-week cadence. The route schedule is set by sales data — remote machine monitoring tells us what’s selling, what’s low, and what’s about to be out. We adjust route timing as your team’s habits change.
Do the machines take credit cards and mobile pay?
Yes. Modern machines come cashless-ready out of the box — card swipe, contactless tap, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Cash is still accepted as a fallback. Card readers, transaction fees, and back-end processing are all on us, not on the site.
What if a machine breaks down?
We get the alert before your team usually does — the machines report exception conditions back to us continuously. Our techs handle every service call: bill jams, refrigeration warnings, payment glitches, anything mechanical. Most issues get a same-route-day or next-route-day fix. There’s no per-call service fee, no third-party repair line, and no parts cost passed to the business.
What products do you stock in the machines?
Broad shape: snacks (salty, sweet, healthier options), cold drinks (water, soft drinks, juice, sparkling, energy, premium coffee), and a fresh-food cooler if the site adds one. Specific items shift with season, supplier availability, and what your team is actually reaching for — our route data drives the mix, not a templated catalog.
For a snapshot of what we currently carry across the network, see our full product list; ask us for the current available list when we talk and we’ll walk through what fits your site.
Can we mix vending with a micro market or coffee program?
Yes — that’s actually the most common multi-room build. A vending machine in one space, a micro market in the main breakroom, and an office coffee bar all run by the same operator on the same service schedule. Ice cream can sit alongside as a dedicated frozen lane for sites where it fits.
Where do you operate?
We’re headquartered in Posen, IL with hubs in Springfield, IL and Kenosha, WI. We route across Chicagoland (Chicago, Cook County, the collar counties), downstate Illinois through Springfield, southeast Wisconsin (Milwaukee, Madison, Kenosha, Racine), and across Indiana (Indianapolis metro, Fort Wayne, Evansville, South Bend). For the full list of cities, see our service areas page.
