Why vending machines and not a micro market for a community center lobby?
Micro markets work best in closed-population environments — staff break rooms, member-only areas, customer waiting rooms where the same visitors come back regularly. Public-access community lobbies have too much general-public traffic without oversight, so a glass-front vending machine is the better fit. We can add a closed-population micro market on the staff side if your facility has one.
Do you place vending in multi-site park districts?
Yes — multi-site park districts are a strength for us. One operator, one invoice across every facility, with the program tuned per site (a community room needs different vending than an ice rink concourse). We can stagger rollout if you want to test one site first.
How does ice cream fit at a community site?
Ice cream is its own lane — we’ve run dedicated ice cream routes year-round for nearly two decades. Strong fits include aquatic centers, ice rinks, splash pads, pediatric programming, summer day camps, and family events. We place the right equipment for your site and restock through the year, not just summer.
Does the facility share in revenue, or is it just free service?
Both options exist. Some facilities run a straight free-service model — BUV installs and stocks at no cost, visitors pay for what they take. Others want a revenue-share arrangement where the facility receives a portion of sales above a threshold. We work out which model fits during the walk-through.
What about ADA placement in public lobbies?
We install with ADA-aware placement — heights, clearance, and approach — and the specifics get confirmed on-site during the walk-through so the install matches what each site actually allows. Your facilities team knows your standards better than any vendor — we work to those.
Can vending hours match our program calendar?
Vending machines are always-on — they don’t need staffing — so they’re available whenever your facility is open, from early-morning leagues to evening events. The restock schedule is what we tune to your calendar; busy program seasons get more frequent visits.
Do you pay for the equipment and install?
Yes. Snack machines, beverage coolers, ice cream equipment, signage, and install are all included for qualifying sites. Vending is free for sites with 50+ daily foot traffic or comparable program volume. No equipment cost to the facility.
Are we locked into a long-term contract?
No long-term contract required. The program runs month-to-month — if it isn’t working, you tell us and we adjust or remove. Most community sites stay for years because the program runs in the background once it’s set up.
What if a machine breaks down or runs empty during a tournament?
You call or message us and we come out. Routes are local — Posen IL, Springfield IL, Kenosha WI — so response stays fast. Restock gaps are rare during tournaments because we plan ahead for big-program weekends.
