An Illinois vending company serving Illinois businesses since 2003

Bottoms Up Vending is a family-owned vending and micro market company headquartered in Posen, Illinois — just south of Chicago, an easy run to the Loop, the I-294 corridor, and out toward the western and southern collar counties. Our route trucks restock most Chicagoland accounts on a daily-to-weekly cadence and reach central Illinois communities like Peoria, Springfield, Bloomington, and Champaign — anchored by our Springfield, IL service hub for central-Illinois coverage.

We are not a referral service or a national broker. When you sign with Bottoms Up Vending, our team installs your equipment, our drivers stock the machines and markets, and our office handles billing, product mix tuning, and service calls directly. The same family has been running the business since 2003 — we know our routes, we know our accounts, and Illinois is our home market.

If you operate a workplace, healthcare facility, school, gym, community center, or industrial site in Illinois with the headcount or foot traffic to support a program, the cost to install vending or a micro market is $0. We earn revenue through product sales — you get a fully-managed break room.

How It Works

From application to first restock

A four-step path from the form below to a stocked break room. We handle every step ourselves — no installer subcontractors, no national call-center middle layer.

01

Apply

Send us your headcount, location, current setup, and any product preferences. We’ll confirm whether your site is in our Illinois route footprint.

02

Walk-through

We visit, measure the space, look at electrical and floor layout, and recommend the right equipment mix — vending, micro market, coffee, or a combination.

03

Install

Our team delivers and sets up the equipment. We handle the swap-out from your previous provider if you have one — no separate removal fees on either side.

04

Stock & Service

Restocks on a route schedule that fits your traffic. We track sales data, tune the product mix to what your team actually buys, and fix any issue on the next visit or sooner.

Why Bottoms Up

Two reasons Illinois sites switch to us

Reason 01

A local Illinois operator — not a national chain

Most vending companies serving Illinois sites are national chains run out of distant headquarters, or referral sites that hand the account off to whoever picks it up. Bottoms Up Vending is neither. We’re the operator on the contract, the truck on your route, and the office that picks up when you call. When something needs fixing, the person you reach knows your account.

  • Posen, IL headquarters — route trucks based here
  • Same family running the business — not a corporate chain
  • One point of contact for billing, service, and product mix
  • A+ BBB Accredited rating
Reason 02

Since 2003 — we know what we do, and we do it well

Bottoms Up Vending has been running vending machines, micro markets, office coffee, and ice cream programs across Illinois since 2003. Twenty-two years of routes, restocks, install days, swap-outs, and product-mix tuning across hundreds of accounts. Vending is what we do — not a side business, not a recent pivot. The result is a program that works on day one and keeps working.

  • 22 years operating across Illinois and the Midwest
  • 200+ active accounts across vending, micro markets, coffee, and ice cream
  • Equipment installed, stocked, and serviced by our team — not a sub-contractor
  • A+ BBB Accredited rating
Illinois Service Area at a Glance

Three regions, one route network

Coverage runs deepest in Chicagoland, extends through central Illinois along I-55 and I-74 — anchored by our Springfield, IL service hub — and reaches into the Metro East. If you’re outside any of these, we’ll still take the application; route fit gets confirmed during the walk-through stage.

Region 01

Chicago & Greater Chicagoland

Cook, DuPage, Lake, Will, Kane, and McHenry counties. The densest section of our route network — daily-to-weekly restocks across the I-294 / I-90 / I-55 / I-355 corridors. Anchor pages: Chicago, Naperville, Joliet, Aurora, Schaumburg.

Region 02

Northern & Central Illinois

Anchored by our Springfield, IL service hub, this region covers Rockford, the Quad Cities, and the I-55 / I-74 corridor through Peoria, Bloomington-Normal, and Champaign-Urbana. The Springfield hub means we run real route depth across central Illinois — not just long runs from Chicagoland. Anchor pages: Peoria, Springfield, Bloomington, Champaign, Rockford.

Region 03

Metro East & Southern Illinois

Communities along I-64 and I-255 east of St. Louis — the O’Fallon and Belleville corridor down toward Scott Air Force Base. Lighter coverage here than Chicagoland; route fit is confirmed per site. Anchor pages: O’Fallon, Belleville.

Illinois Vending FAQ

Common questions from Illinois buyers

Is vending really free across Illinois?

For sites that meet the headcount or foot-traffic threshold, yes. There is no installation fee, no monthly equipment rental, and no charge for product loss or routine service. We earn through product sales — the people who buy a snack or drink fund the program.

The thresholds: roughly 50+ employees or steady foot traffic for a vending program, 100+ for a micro market. Below those, the route economics don’t work for a no-cost setup, but we can still discuss subsidized or pay-the-operator arrangements.

What size site qualifies?

50+ employees or comparable foot traffic for free full-service vending. 100+ for a self-checkout micro market. Office coffee generally bundles in alongside vending or markets at the same site — standalone office coffee can work at smaller headcounts.

Ice cream programs work for community centers, ice rinks, fieldhouses, healthcare lounges, and similar high-traffic public-facing facilities — thresholds depend on traffic, not headcount.

Do you cover the city or suburb I’m in?

Likely yes if you’re in greater Chicagoland, the Rockford area, or anywhere along the I-55 / I-74 corridor through Peoria, Bloomington-Normal, Champaign-Urbana, and Springfield. Metro East coverage is lighter and confirmed per site.

The fastest way to know: scroll up to the Illinois Cities Directory section and look for your city, or send the application form below and we’ll confirm route fit in the first reply. If you’re out of footprint we’ll say so plainly — we don’t take accounts we can’t service.

Do you handle removing our existing equipment?

Yes. If your site already has vending machines or a market from a previous operator, our team handles the swap-out as part of the install — we coordinate with the outgoing provider, remove the old equipment, and install ours in the same footprint. There’s no separate removal fee on either side.

For micro market conversions or coffee-program transitions, we follow the same one-day cutover approach when the site allows.

Can we get healthier options & dietary tags?

Yes — this is one of the more common requests we get from Illinois HR, wellness, and facilities buyers. We carry healthier categories alongside traditional favorites, and we tag items by dietary attribute (lower-sodium, gluten-free, vegan, allergy-aware) so users can filter at a glance.

For school accounts we align with USDA Smart Snacks standards. For workplace wellness programs, we can build a 70/30 traditional-to-healthier split or further toward healthier on request — whatever the team will actually buy.

Who handles billing and service calls?

Our office, directly. There is no national call center, no third-party dispatcher, and no broker layer. Billing comes from Bottoms Up Vending. Service calls go to a team that knows your account by name. The drivers stocking your machines work for us, not a sub-contractor.

This is the part that surprises new accounts the most — and it’s the same reason most of our Illinois business comes from word-of-mouth referrals from facilities and HR managers who have worked with us for years.
