2003

A sedan, Sam’s Club, and a hunch.

Izzy Russell starts Bottoms Up Vending. He buys snacks at Sam’s Club, loads them into his sedan, and stocks his first machines one route at a time. Like every good American business, it grows up in a garage.

~2005

First route driver, in a minivan.

The route grows past what one person can stock alone. The first route driver joins the team and starts running accounts across the south side of Chicago — out of a minivan.

2006

A real warehouse, in Skokie.

The garage hits its limit. Bottoms Up moves into its first real warehouse in Skokie and starts running multiple routes off a proper staging floor.

~2010

Posen becomes home.

Bottoms Up moves south to Posen and puts down permanent roots. The Posen warehouse becomes — and remains — the headquarters for everything we do.

Today

Three hubs across two states.

Bottoms Up runs multiple routes plus a dedicated route jumper, a full-time service technician, a micro market manager, and warehouse and office staff out of three hubs — Posen, IL, Springfield, IL, and Kenosha, WI. We serve well over 200 accounts across Illinois and southeast Wisconsin.
