Bottoms Up Vending is a local Illinois company, family-owned since 2003. We’ve been the same business serving Chicagoland workplaces from the same founding team the whole time — not a national chain. North Chicago is serviced from our Kenosha WI route hub about 22 miles north on I-94, the same way we cover Lake County IL.

For qualifying workplaces — 50+ employees for a vending program, 100+ for a self-checkout micro market — the program is provided at no cost to the business. We install the equipment, restock it on a regular route from our Kenosha hub, and service it under a revenue-share arrangement. No upfront equipment cost, no recurring cost to your workplace.

Smaller sites can sometimes still qualify based on traffic profile (multi-tenant building, public-access location, high-volume service site). Easiest is to share a few details on the form.

The common fits are healthcare campuses and outpatient admin buildings, life-sciences and pharma R&D, defense-services and military-adjacent contractor offices, light manufacturing along the Green Bay Road / rail corridor, multi-tenant office and professional services along Sheridan Road and the lakefront, and owner-operated small businesses with steady foot traffic. The shared signal: 50+ employees on-site (or strong public/multi-tenant traffic), a break room that can host equipment, and a decision-maker who can authorize an install.

Smaller sites are evaluated case-by-case. They can work when there’s steady non-employee foot traffic — a public-access location, a multi-tenant building shared with neighboring workplaces, or a high-volume retail or service site. Under-25-person owner-operated offices usually don’t sustain a route stop. Easiest is to share details on the form and we’ll say plainly whether the math works.

A vending machine is a single glass-front unit dispensing snacks or drinks — best for break rooms with 50+ employees, multi-shift operations, or public-access workplaces. A micro market is an open self-checkout shop: open shelving with packaged snacks, a glass-front beverage cooler, a glass-front fresh-food cooler, and a self-checkout kiosk. Micro markets fit closed-population workplaces with 100+ employees and a break-room footprint that can host the layout.

Yes. The product mix is tuned per account — traditional favorites everyone recognizes alongside lower-sodium, gluten-free, and higher-protein options. Most workplaces want a mix of both. We don’t run all-healthy or all-traditional unless that’s specifically what fits the team.
